The Cloudrest fire started on 8/14 15 miles northwest of Virginia City, MT, and has been ongoing throughout the month of September. As of September 1st, the fire has burned through 3,135 acres of timber (grass and understory) and a mixed conifer forest. As of 9/31, the fire has burned through 3,174 acres at a 54% containment. No damages were reported yet with this fire.
