The wider storm

Scattered diurnally driven thunderstorms developed across north central Georgia during the evening hours of the 21st. Instability and moisture was enough for a few isolated cells to become stronger with gusty winds and heavy rainfall. The strongest winds were again felt in the Atlanta metro.
