As high pressure shifted slightly eastward, diurnally driven isolated thunderstorms developed over portions of Southeast Missouri during the afternoon hours of the 11th, with the most notable storm occurring in Southern Mississippi County. A powerful outflow boundary from the cell toppled a center pivot irrigation system.
