The Blue Wildfire was discovered on August 26th. The fire started 4 miles southeast of Seiad Valley in Siskiyou County, California. The fire was caused by lightning. As of 530 AM PST on September 30th, it had burned 3,713 acres, was 83% contained, no structures had been destroyed, and it had cost $ 22.7M.
