A gust of 45 mph was recorded at MnDOT mesonet station MN082 I-35 - Garfield Ave - MP 255.

An area of storms moved across northwestern Wisconsin and along the South Shore of Lake Superior during the afternoon hours of the 22nd. In addition to some small hail, these storms produced wind gusts to around 45 mph near the shore. Over the open waters of western Lake Superior off the Apostle Islands, a gust to 62 mph was recorded by an iron ore hauling vessel.
