Hail was mostly dime size, but some was as large as a quarter.
Wider weather episode
An isolated elevated supercell developed across west central Minnesota within an area of scattered thunderstorms during the mid to late afternoon hours and dropped slowly southward through early evening. The storm dropped large hail moving southward into Lyon County before weakening.
