Strong and gusty northerly winds impacted the Interstate 5 Corridor. Some peak wind gusts include: Sandberg ASOS (gust 77 MPH), Whitaker Peak RAWS (gust 71 MPH) and Marple Canyon (gust 58 MPH).
Wider weather episode
Strong and gusty northerly winds impacted some areas of Southwestern California. Wind gusts in excess of 60 MPH were reported across the Santa Ynez Range in Santa Barbara county as well as the Interstate 5 Corridor in Los Angeles county.
