Strong thunderstorms occurred on the afternoon and evening of August 15th, 2025 that produced nickel sized (0.88 inch) hail in San Simon, AZ. Additionally, heavy rainfall from thunderstorms caused flash flooding and closed Frontier Road in Cochise County.
