Arizona DOT dust sensor from mile marker 215 to 216 recorded visibility less than 0.25 miles along Interstate 10.

Wider weather episode

Strong thunderstorms produced outflow winds that was able to loft areas of blowing dust into a dust storm. The dust moved westward across Interstate 10 and decreased visibility to less than 0.25 miles. There was no reported injury, fatality, or damage to property.
