Event narrative

A wildfire burning grass and sage began September 28th about 6 miles north of Ketchum. It continued through the end of the month and grew to 512 acres. It was near the Lake Creek picnic area and had Blaine County issuing pre evacuation notices but no evacuations occurred. It was finally contained the first week of October.
