Mid-level atmospheric moisture moved over Wyoming causing scattered high-based showers and thunderstorms to develop. With dew point depressions greater than 50 degrees, wind gusts of 50 knots or higher were reported in portions of Johnson, Natrona, Sublette, and Sweetwater Counties.
