Event narrative
Hail was mostly pea to dime size, but several stones were from quarter up to golf ball size.
Wider weather episode
With less than 10 knots of deep-layer shear, isolated thunderstorms were very slow moving along existing outflow boundaries and resulted in several complimentary boundary interactions. One such interaction resulted in a stronger and more persistent updraft, with hail up to half-dollar size for a brief time.
