With less than 10 knots of deep-layer shear, isolated thunderstorms were very slow moving along existing outflow boundaries and resulted in several complimentary boundary interactions. One such interaction resulted in a stronger and more persistent updraft, with hail up to nickel size across southwest Minnesota.
