A wind gust of 39 knots was recorded at a WeatherFlow station at Harbor Bank Light.
The wider storm
Two deep thunderstorm cells in the coastal waters off southwest Florida produced outflow boundaries which focused new thunderstorm development. Several gale-force wind gusts occurred as the thunderstorms moved south-southwest from the Gulf side to oceanside of the Lower Florida Keys.
Began near Big Pine Key (24.8401, -81.4291).
