The 911 Call Center reported a fallen pole with power lines obstructing the roadway PR-181 at kilometer 10.4 in Barrio Dos Bocas, Trujillo Alto.

The wider storm

Major Hurricane Erin moved northeast and north of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Erin's Outer Bands and then Feeder Bands still affected the islands, producing strong thunderstorms, gusty winds, and heavy rains across the islands. Several reports of wind gust damage, along with reports of high surf, flooding and debris flow were received between August 16 to 18.
