What the National Weather Service wrote

A tree fell along PR-2 near Centro Integral de Salud de Vega Alta and Escuela Ileana de Garcia. The tree is blocking the roadway, but there are no people trapped and no electrical cables in the area.

The wider storm

Major Hurricane Erin moved northeast and north of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Erin's Outer Bands and then Feeder Bands still affected the islands, producing strong thunderstorms, gusty winds, and heavy rains across the islands. Several reports of wind gust damage, along with reports of high surf, flooding and debris flow were received between August 16 to 18.
