Event narrative

Emergency management reported several trees down east southeast of Ludowici along Old Macon Darien Road, Hill Street, Prince Road and Stafford Dairy Road. A few trees fell on homes. Minor damage was also reported to a few homes due to thunderstorm winds.

Wider weather episode

Deep moisture residing ahead of an approaching cold front led to an environment supportive of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds across Southeast Georgia.
