The Vees Fire was reported on Saturday, July 26, 2025 south of Ten Sleep, Wyoming in Washakie County. Fire growth was halted on July 31st by heavy rain in the region. The fire ultimately burned 5,229 acres on a combination of Bureau of Land Management and private lands.
