As a front pushed into northern portions of the Quad State, a SW to NE oriented line of storms organized in Southern Illinois late evening and tracked through Henderson and Daviess Counties around midnight CST. Wind gusts around 55 mph were reported five miles south of Stanley in Western Daviess County, while penny size hail was measured east of Owensboro. MLCAPE was around 250J/kg while effective bulk shear was 30kts.
