Low-level easterly flow underneath mid- and upper-level west-southwest flow aloft associated with broad troughing over the eastern U.S. lead to afternoon and evening thunderstorms that produce multiple waterspouts -- one each near Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach, respectively, in Lee County, and another near Reddington Beach in Pinellas County.
