Mesonet station MTBWG Browning (MT DOT) measured a 67 mph wind gust. Mesonet station MTBRN Two Medicine Bridge (MT DOT) also measured high wind gusts.

Wider weather episode

A deepening surface low brought high wind gusts to the Rocky Mountain Front Saturday morning and afternoon. A more potent mid level jet moved through late Saturday night through Sunday. A frontal feature helped mixed these stronger winds down for another round of high winds for the Rocky Mountain Front and in terrain enhanced places in Southwest Montana.
