Wider weather episode

A line of showers and thunderstorms moved across Middle Tennessee during the afternoon and evening of November 7, 2025. With warm, moist air ahead of a cold front along with abundant wind shear, this environment allowed for damaging wind gusts along the leading edge of the thunderstorms. Several reports of downed trees were received along with a few reports of hail up the size of quarters. With waning instability, these thunderstorms weakened as they got east of Nashville and closer to the Cumberland Plateau.
