Snotel equipment at Dupuyer Creek estimated 9 inches new snow the evening of the 12th into the 13th.

Wider weather episode

Low-level northeasterly upslope flow at the surface combined with a relatively warm/moist airmass overrunning the cooler surface airmass to result in heavy snow, mostly along the Rocky Mountain Front and into Helena.
