MT DOT sensor in Browning measured sustained winds, averaged over an hour, of 50 mph.

Strong cross barrier flow developed along the Rocky Mountain Front the morning of the 26th behind a cold front that passed through the prior evening. Areas along the Northern Rocky Mountain Front out to Cut Bank were the gustiest, though given the higher criteria west of Cut Bank, only one zone had a High Wind Warning Issued.
