Many, many sensors in this zone measured criteria winds/gusts, including ASOS station KCTB Cut Bank Airport, which measured a peak gust of 75 mph. A few rollovers were observed on I-15 between Valier Junction and Shelby. Damage estimates are unknown at this time.
Wider weather episode
A potent shortwave combined with strong cross barrier flow to result in a period of gusty winds during the day October 29. This event ended up being higher end, with a peak gust of 86 mph (Crosswind) being observed along US-287 north of Augusta.
