Deer Haven RAWS recorded a gust of 50 knots associated with a thunderstorm outflow.

On July 31st, a shortwave trough embedded in southwesterly flow aloft moved over southwestern Idaho. This forcing, paired with increasing moisture in the southwesterly flow, allowed for scattered thunderstorms to develop across the region.
