The 911 Call center reported street flooding along Avenida Tito Castro near La Rambla Shopping Center, before Burger King. The flooding affected the roadway, with two vehicles impacted, but no stranded individuals were reported.

Wider weather episode

A tropical wave moving over the islands lead to heavy showers and t-storms. Breezy east to east-southeast winds also persisted. The tropical wave resulted in thunderstorms with frequent lightning and strong wind gusts. Flooding, debris flow and thunderstorm wind damage were reported at the first day of the month.
