Event narrative

The 911 Call Center reported a fallen utility pole on Cll J7, Ba Playa, near the La Playita sector. The pole was blocking the roadway with power and telephone lines hanging low, though no injuries or property damage were reported.

Wider weather episode

A tropical wave moving over the islands lead to heavy showers and t-storms. Breezy east to east-southeast winds also persisted. The tropical wave resulted in thunderstorms with frequent lightning and strong wind gusts. Flooding, debris flow and thunderstorm wind damage were reported at the first day of the month.
