Emergency Managers reported a landslide at PR-8827 near De Valencia and Serenata streets (Palacios Reales Urb.) and also near a Retirement Home and Palacios de Versalles Recreational Area. No one was reported as trapped or affected.

Wider weather episode

A tropical wave moving over the islands lead to heavy showers and t-storms. Breezy east to east-southeast winds also persisted. The tropical wave resulted in thunderstorms with frequent lightning and strong wind gusts. Flooding, debris flow and thunderstorm wind damage were reported at the first day of the month.
