OMME Naguabo reported an overflowing creek affecting a portion of PR-974, near its intersection with PR-973 and PR-9973. The road was left impassable.

The wider storm

Enhanced trade winds brought an increase in tropical moisture. Additionally, instability aloft increased due to the vicinity of an upper-level low. These features fuel strong showers and thunderstorms, causing flooding.
