Event narrative

Debris flow due to heavy rains was reported at the Aloy Wenty Nielsen Bypass (VI-66). This debris flow occured between the Bypass Overlook and the Intersection with Hospital St and East End Rd. The debris was reported to have been removed around 10 AM.

A tropical wave moved into the area, promoting the development of frequent and persistent showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall accumulations in St. Croix were widespread, with significant urban flooding and impassable roads.
