A report from 911 indicated that Road 177 in Cupey, near the Universidad Interamericana Recinto Metro, is affected by ponding of water on the roadway.

Wider weather episode

Tropical moisture associated with a tropical wave and other trade wind perturbations, along with an upper-level trough resulted in the formation of strong showers and thunderstorms. These showers resulted in flooding, landslide and wind damage along portions of eastern, northern and western Puerto Rico.
