Thunderstorms developed around midday, along a frontal boundary, in the northeastern Nebraska Panhandle. As this broken line of storms tracked east into the Sandhills, southwestern and north central Nebraska, wind gusts up to 63 MPH and hail up to ping pong ball size was reported.
