Mesonet station LGPVC Logan Pass (GNP) measured a 68 mph wind gust. Mesonet station SNPMT Sunpoint also measured high wind gusts.
Wider weather episode
A cold front passage on the morning of November 7th allowed for strong mid level winds to mix down to the surface. This brought windy conditions to the North-Central MT plains. Another round of strong winds arrived Friday from a potent low-level jet.
