What the National Weather Service wrote

Hail up to one inch in diameter was reported in Gila Hot Springs.

The wider storm

A broad upper trough was moving through the Rockies with southeast winds at the surface bringing a return to some late monsoonal moisture. Southwest winds aloft combined with the southeast surface winds provided plenty of wind shear and the moisture the instability to produce some severe thunderstorms.

Began near Silver City Meown Ar (33.2011, -108.2081).
