A line of thunderstorms developed from far northeastern Colorado to around Valentine during the late afternoon hours of October 16th. As this activity moved east, gusty winds and mainly small hail fell from southwestern Nebraska into portions of central Nebraska. Hail up to nickel size was reported in far southeastern Perkins County.
