Mesonet station GW3478 TCTIBER measured a 65 mph wind gust. Mesonet station GW3546 Whitlash Seven South and Montana Mesonet sensor Mt Lebanon SE also measured high wind gusts.
The wider storm
A cold front passage on the morning of November 7th allowed for strong mid level winds to mix down to the surface. This brought windy conditions to the North-Central MT plains. Another round of strong winds arrived Friday from a potent low-level jet.
