Mesonet Station Bynum W measured a 75 mph wind gust and 50 mph sustained winds over the span of an hour. Mesonet station DVI01084 Dupuyer and Mesonet station DELMT Dellwo (MCSCN) also measured high winds.

Wider weather episode

A cold front passage on the morning of November 7th allowed for strong mid level winds to mix down to the surface. This brought windy conditions to the North-Central MT plains. Another round of strong winds arrived Friday from a potent low-level jet.
