A tree and power lines were knocked down causing power lines to catch fire and hang low at the intersection of Mountain View Road an Water Tank Road in Union Grove.

Wider weather episode

Northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph gusted at times over 35 mph. This resulted in a couple of trees being knocked down, including one on power lines.
