The Wolf Point airport ASOS site (KOLF) recorded dense fog with visibility of 1/4 mile or worse for about 5.5 hours. FAA web cams at Wolf Point and Poplar also showed the dense fog.

Wider weather episode

After a day of rain and snow, clearing skies and colder air created areas of dense freezing fog near and north of US Highway 2 from the early morning into the afternoon hours of the 16th, in Roosevelt and Richland counties.
