Event narrative

Emergency managers reported that floodwaters are affecting PR-109 at km 1.9 near Urb. Estancias in Barrio Culebrinas, San Sebastian. The road was partially inundated, though vehicles are still able to pass. Radar estimates indicated that approximately 2 to 3 inches of rain had fallen in the area by the time of the report.

Wider weather episode

A surface trough, diurnal heating, and afternoon convection, promoted showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the northwestern quadrant of Puerto Rico on November 18th. Reports of flooded roads and a landslide were received from sectors of San Sebastian.
