Event narrative
Emergency managers reported flooding on PR-446 at km 0.3 intersection with PR-111 in Barrio Robles, near the Walgreens. Both lanes were inundated, and officials were planning to close the roadway. Radar estimates indicate that approximately 2 to 3.5 inches of rain had fallen in the area by the time of the report.
Wider weather episode
A surface trough, diurnal heating, and afternoon convection, promoted showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the northwestern quadrant of Puerto Rico on November 18th. Reports of flooded roads and a landslide were received from sectors of San Sebastian.
