Outflow winds blew over a tree and pulled down a powerline leaving the area around the El Pavon Apartments without power.

Wider weather episode

An upper trough was moving through the Great Basin region with some weak convergence setup over the Rio Grande Valley which contributed to thunderstorm development. A severe thunderstorm moved through west El Paso and damaged areas around Mesa and Doniphan.
