A tree was down on power lines with another power pole snapped on Route 11 just north of Barnett Road in Gallatin. A tree was also downed in a yard within the same vicinity.

Wider weather episode

Showers and thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front across eastern New York on September 6, 2025. One thunderstorm became severe downing trees and wires along its path across Columbia and northern portions of Dutchess counties.
