A photo was received of a tree town and a power line on fire at the Intersection of Route 112 and Route 7 south of Falls Village.

Showers and thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front across northwestern Connecticut on September 6, 2025. One thunderstorm became severe downing trees and wires along its path. One tree fell onto a car injuring an occupant.
