Numerous trees were downed near Otis including on Tolland Road, Reservoir Road and Pine Road.

Wider weather episode

Showers and thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front across western Massachusetts on September 6, 2025. One thunderstorm became severe downing trees and wires along its path from Sheffield to Otis. A separate thunderstorm led to some downed trees south of Lenox.
