A swath of golf ball size hail was reported from Norton east through the Barberton area. Many homes and vehicles were damaged by the hail.

A cold front moved east across northern Ohio during the afternoon of July 26th. Severe thunderstorms developed along this front. Large hail was reported with the stronger storms.
