Broadcast Media shared video of a waterspout over the northern portion of Lake Okeechobee associated with a thunderstorm that moved onshore shortly afterwards.

The wider storm

A stationary surface boundary north of the area and a mid to upper level longwave trough provided additional support for diurnal showers and thunderstorms on the 9th of September.

Began near Buckhead Ridge (27.1400, -80.7500).
