Broken tree limbs and branches at a home in The Hammocks near SW 147 Avenue and N. Kendall Drive. Time is estimated based on radar indicated wind gusts near the surface in the 40-50 mph range south of this area in association with a thunderstorm.

A decaying surface frontal boundary and ample moisture helped support diurnal showers and storms over land in the afternoon and the coastal waters overnight and in the morning hours in late September.
