EF0 Tornado — Hot Spring, Arkansas

Event narrative
This brief QLCS (Quasi-Linear Convective System) tornado started near Sycamore Drive in Hot Spring County, just north of Arkansas State Highway 128, and produced mainly tree damage along a short path. The tornado moved eastward, and dissipated as it reached Owasso Trail. Survey results found damage consistent with an EF1 tornado with winds of 105 mph.
Wider weather episode
An approaching cold front to the northwest of Arkansas in combination with temperatures which soared well into the 80s led to the development of isolated storms along an outflow boundary which led to a few isolated instances of severe weather across Arkansas.
